The global cryptocurrency exchange is the brainchild of Mingxing Xu (aka Stat Xu), who was born on April 3, 1987 and received his bachelor's degree in applied physics from the University of Science and Technology Beijing in 2006. He has a background in technology management, having worked at Alibaba and Yahoo, where he was responsible for the development of search algorithms. In addition, he was the CTO of DocIn.com, the largest file sharing service in China.
